Ed “Outlaw” Hicks, John “Ripper” Rippinger, and Stan “The Man” Robinson members of the Lima Lima Flight team flew two of the T-34
aircraft in for a recent photo shoot. The T-34 Mentors were used by the USAF and Navy as trainers and were finally phased out of military training programs in the 1970’s. The Lima Lima aircraft are beautifully maintained in the original Navy training colors. The other images are from the six aircraft demonstration at the Chicago Air and Water Show.
